Googles New Privacy Policy and You
Today, March 1st 2012 is the day that Google turns on it’s new (unified) and controvrsial privacy policy. I decided to put this short video presentation to help you understand a little bit about the implications with some suggestions about what you can do on your own behalf to protect yourself and your internet privacy.
This is certainly not a comprehensive presentation and there are links below that will help you so further investigation (which we encourage) if you so choose. However, we always believe that to be forewarned is to be forearmed.
Personally, I had three uncles who fought in WW2 and both my mother and father worked in the factories during WW2 – in defense of the Constitution which not only assures our freedom but also our privacy and though they all came home alive, countless thousands of unnamed hero’s and heroines paid and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the Constitution, the rights and privileges which it guarantees. (end soapbox). Leave any questions or comments below

Add Videos, Articles, or Interviews to Favorites
Over time there will be more videos, articles and interviews posted to Belly Dance Village, which is great, but what goes hand in hand with that is then finding and being able to quickly refer back to what you were watching, reading, or listening to.
Now to help you with this you will find below the title of each item a link called “Make This a Favorite” When you add something to your list of favorites it will appear on the right hand side of the page. In addition there will also be a section called “Top Favorites” which is a a summation of what is being Favorited by everyone.
The video pretty much explains it all. If you have a suggestion or comment about this feel free to leave it below or send me email using the contact form.

Find a Belly Dance Video Immediately! The Belly Dance Village Toolbar
My mission as part of the Husband and Wife Belly Dance Village team is to provide superior service and to make Belly Dance Village exceptionally easy and convenient to use. In particular I want any Belly Dance Village technology stuff I put in place, or use to be pretty invisible and seamless so that you as a Belly Dance student can spend as much time dancing and as little time as necessary looking for what you need to find.
This past weekend I worked to put together the Belly Dance Village dashboard and unfortunately there were some software bugs that were unanticipated and unfortunately had to uninstall it temporarily. The bugs are being worked on and it will be back in place hopefully later this week, or next week sometime.
Not to be deterred, last night I put together (and fully tested) something new that will also save you time when you’re so inspired to work on your dance and it’s called the “Belly Dance Village Toolbar”.
The toolbar once you install it will allow you to access just about any part of Belly Dance Village without having to type the URL. In fact once you log n (say in the morning) you can use the toolbar to access any category of videos no matter where you are on the internet.
Anyway, check out the video, it will explain and demonstrate it and then just login and take the minute, or so to download and install it. It works on Internet Explorer and Firefox. Hopefully (but can’t say when) we’ll have it available for Chrome as well.

Belly Dance Village Members Dashboard
Introducing the Belly Dance Village Members Dashboard
The Belly Dance Village members dashboard is something that we hope makes finding what you’re looking for a bit easier and faster. There’s nothing worse in my opinion then to go to a website with a clear image of what you’re looking for and then get frustrated because it’s buried somewhere. We want any amount of technology to be a non issue so that you can find the video you’re looking fast, so you can spend more time dancing and less time mucking with technology. Read more
